Chevy Silverado 1500 – A History of Satisfaction
The Chevy Silverado 1500 first entered the automotive scene in 1999. Although the full-size Chevrolet pickup dates back much further than that, the 1500 is still relatively new. Part of what makes the 1500 such a fabulous choice is the fact that it offers all the luxuries you would want out of a pickup, but with a car-like interior.
Comfort and Style
The 1500 is far more comfortable than you might expect. Chevy certainly did something right by combining the power and functionality of a truck with the luxurious comfort of a car into the 1500 package. Despite having a comfortable interior, it does not lose either is functionality or its durability.
As if comfort is not enough of a selling point, the Chevy Silverado 1500 also offers plenty of styles. You can choose between a broad range of bed lengths and cab styles that best suit your wants and needs. Stop in at Liberty Cars and Trucks to find out more about their selection of 1500s. Keep in mind that their inventory may change day-by-day, but they are likely to have a 1500 that is just right for you.
Features
The first generation Silverado 1500, which was released in 1999, featured a brand new lineup of powerful 8-cylinder engines. As with newer models, it also boasted various trim options. Fortunately, you also have your choice of either regular, crew, or extended cab.
Between 2007 and 2013, Chevy released its second generation 1500. The engine on this beast had a displacement range of 4.8 to 6.2 liters combined with impressive cargo and towing capacity. As the years progressed, the Silverado 1500 received various tech upgrades and enhancements, too.
The third and most current generation 1500, which debuted in 2014, featured a modernize body style and a far more suitable interior. The 6-cylinder, 305 horsepower engine has greater fuel efficiency and 285 pound-foot of torque for additional power. The 8-cylinder version has 383 horsepower and an even higher 355 pound-foot of torque.

Interior
Whether you opt for regular, crew, or extended cab, the 1500 delivers with a spacious and well-planned interior. The comfortable seats and roomy cab feel more like a car and less like a truck, and yet the 1500 can still haul a decent payload as a truck should.
Another benefit of the Silverado 1500s exterior is the fact that it is quiet. Unlike most other pickup trucks, you hear less road noise for a smoother, more enjoyable ride. The quiet combined with the luxuriousness of having room to stretch your limbs makes the Silverado 1500 a top-notch choice.

Charles Williams – 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Owner
“As a 2nd time truck buyer, the 2016 Chevy Silverado is hands down superior to the 2007 Silverado that I previously owned. It’s much quieter, handles like a dream, has better gas mileage – although 15.7 is about as good as I have gotten so far but that’s still 2 mpg better than my 2007. I have only had it for 785 miles so its new. Its beautiful and well appointed. The only drawback is climbing into the truck. I do not have running boards yet but will need to get hem to provide a step up. My wife has a problem getting into the truck. In terms of acceleration, it does fine. The interior is very nice with leather seats which have a cooling feature which is great in the summer. I have only had it for a couple of weeks so its all really new. I read other reviews that talk about a vibration but I have not had that happen. I am a proud owner of this truck.”
